Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra
Lunchtime Learning Beethoven and Friends 3
Please note that due to a change in rehearsal schedule - the Ensemble of St Luke’s will no longer be able to join us for this session.
However, Ian Stephens will now be joined by award-winning pianist Ron Abramski and together they will use the session to explore Beethoven’s writing for keyboard, the music that inspired him and how he paved the way for subsequent composers.
Ever wanted to learn more about the revolutionary music of Beethoven or ask questions to musicians about the music they love to play? Lunchtime Learning is the perfect place to be… a chance to learn something new, meet like-minded people and enjoy inspiring music…
Join composer and lecturer Ian Stephens in our Lunchtime Learning series in the Music Room. Informal and friendly, these two-hour sessions are open to everyone, whether you are new to classical music or a regular concert-goer.
Please note that only a selection of repertoire will be discussed in each session. We cannot guarantee that the orchestral rehearsals will cover the entire repertoire listed or involve all the soloists mentioned.
