An Evening with
The quintessential Californian singer-songwriter Jackson Browne returns with his full band.
Jackson has written and performed some of the most literate and moving songs in popular music. With songs like ‘These Days’, ‘The Pretender’, ‘Running on Empty’, ‘Lawyers in Love’, ‘Doctor My Eyes’, ‘Take It Easy’, ‘For a Rocker’ and ‘Somebody's Baby’ he has defined a genre of songwriting charged with honesty, emotion and personal politics. He has released fourteen studio albums. Browne is also known for his advocacy on behalf of the environment, human rights, and arts education.
For this concert longtime bandmates Val McCallum (guitar), Mauricio Lewak (drums), Jeff Young (keyboards), Bob Glaub (bass), Alethea Mills (vocals) and the acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Greg Leisz (guitar, lap steel, pedal steel) make up what Jackson himself is describing as his ‘ideal band’.
