A Celebration of Sgt Pepper and the Summer of Love

As Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band reaches its half century, the award-winning Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the nation's premier Beatle group The Bootleg Beatles team up to perform this iconic album live in its entirety fifty years to the day of its original release.

Orchestrated by Nigel Osborne and hosted by the legendary Liverpool poet Roger McGough, this special concert is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience what Rolling Stone magazine proclaimed 'the number one greatest album of all time' complete with full-blown symphonic backing.

Incorporating many other hits from the heady days of 1967, including Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane and All You Need Is Love, don't miss this highlight of our summer concert season. As the Fab Four themselves so famously assured us - 'A splendid time is guaranteed for all'.

Corporate hospitality packages are available for these very special performances - please call 0151 210 2903 or email fundraising@liverpoolphil.com for more information.

Various tracks from The Beatles' 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' are GCSE AQA pieces.
