The Vale of Clwyd Singers: Madrigals and Motets at Lunchtime
At Christmas time 2011, five friends came together to sing carols in pubs around Denbigh. The Vale of Clwyd Singers was born.
Now a group of 16, they specialize in unaccompanied vocal repertoire from the Renaissance and Baroque, as well as modern music and folk. The group comprises trained amateur and professional singers and is conducted by Robert Sells, conductor Laureate of the Crosby Symphony Orchestra and a former Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Board Member.
