Time flies when you’re enjoying yourself! We can’t quite believe it either: has it really been 25 years since Classic FM gave us a new way to enjoy classical music on the radio? The Orchestra is proud to have been part of that story, and tonight, Bill Turnbull hosts a 25th birthday party filled with music by Handel, Mozart, Beethoven, Bruch, Sibelius and Karl Jenkins. Melodies you’ve loved – and a few that Classic FM has helped us discover – beautifully wrapped, and delivered in style by Classic FM’s official Orchestra in the North West of England.

All concert-goers are invited to celebrate the 25th birthday of Classic FM after the concert in our Grand Foyer, with a complimentary glass of fizz and cake!
