Key Stage 1 Schools’ Concerts – Harper and the Scarlet Umbrella

Join CBeebies presenter and children’s author Cerrie Burnell, with music from conductor Alasdair Malloy and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, for Harper and the Scarlet Umbrella: a magical tale of a little girl called Harper, her amazing musical gift and her quest to discover a family she’s only ever seen in her dreams.

Back by popular demand! This concert is a repeat of our 2014 Key Stage 1 Concert Harper and the Midnight Orchestra. The name has been changed to reflect the publication of the book, and a brand new scheme of work will be made available in the autumn.

All concerts take place at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, Hope Street, Liverpool, L1 9BP.

Key Stage 2 Schools’ Concerts : Musical Revolution

Concert lasts 1 hour 15 minutes

Presenter Alasdair Malloy and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra explore revolutionary composers including Beethoven, Bach, The Beatles, John Adams, Stravinsky and music from John Williams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Key Stage 2 and 3 pupils will enjoy an exciting, educational, music-filled experience linked to the National Curriculum. The concert features selected music from BBC Ten Pieces, and the opportunity to sing as a massed choir accompanied by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra!

Tickets cost £4.25 per pupil. You will recieve one free adult ticket for every 10 (KS2) or 6 (KS1) child tickets booked (or part thereof). There is also a one-off administration fee of £5 for each booking.
