Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Choir

Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Choir is for young people aged 13-19 from in and around Liverpool.

The Youth Choir regularly performs with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir in high-profile concerts and special events, including premieres of new commissions.

The Youth Choir’s repertoire covers a wide variety of musical styles including classical, jazz, folk, and world music. The Choir has been recognised as one of the top choirs at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod in previous years, and in July 2014 the Choir’s Director, Simon Emery, was awarded with the prize for the Most Inspiring Conductor. The Choir also performed at the London Olympics 2012 Closing Ceremony and for our Patron HM The Queen in 2008.

Applications for Tenors and Basses are now open for the remainder of the 2017/18 season with auditions taking place in January 2018.

Sopranos and Altos are also welcome to fill in the application form and will be contacted about an audition for our 2018/19 season after the closing date.
