Why we need your support

Through promoting the love of music and music making, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic has enhanced the lives of thousands of people, both in the concert hall and across the community.

In addition to our world-class performances at Philharmonic Hall, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic has one of the most extensive education and community programmes of any orchestra in the UK with over 54,000 participants each year.

The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic receives annual grants from Arts Council England, Liverpool City Council and a number of other public funding bodies. However, it must generate in the region of £4 million in earned income itself each year through box office, hire and broadcast fees, and the generous support of individuals, companies and grant making trusts through sponsorship and donations.
