How long have you been with the RLPO?
A. 30 years

Q. What was your earliest musical experience?
A. Playing in the Essex Youth Orchestra in Prague, when the Russians came in (1964?), at 12 years old.

Q. Do you play any other instruments?
A. Flute/ Piano

Q. If you could play a different instrument, which one would it be?
A. The Piano Accordian

Q. What would you most like to do if you weren’t a musician?
A. IMusic Therapist or nurse in hospital

Q. If you could take a recording of one piece of music to a desert island, what would it be?
A. Puccinis's Opera, Madame Butterfly

Q. Which piece of music do you most enjoy playing?
A. Rachmaninov Symphony No.3, Rossini Overtures and Musicals

Q. Which personality (historical, musical or otherwise – living or dead!) would you most like to share a bottle of wine with?
A. Tony Benn MP

Q. What do you do to relax in your free time?
A. Hill walking or go to the theatre, or learn to dance

A. Anywhere with hills and mountains
