Notes Bank

Notes Bank is Ensemble 10/10's new scheme to enable you to support the commissioning of new music from the cream of the 21st century's composers.

Ensemble 10/10, the contemporary music ensemble of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, is one of the foremost contemporary music ensembles of the age and has been responsible for many world and UK premieres.

In 2007, its 10th anniversary year, Ensemble 10/10 has commissioned 10 new works from Gary Carpenter, Graham Fitkin, Ian Gardiner, Kenneth Hesketh, David Horne, Steve Martland, Stephen Pratt, Kurt Schwertsik, Howard Skempton and Ian Stephens.

Your investment in Notes Bank will help us continue to build on this strong foundation and continue expanding the repertoire and supporting composers into the future.

Your support will bring you the intrinsic satisfaction of enabling the creation of new work. Benefits include your name in the score and premiere programme, occasional updates on the progress of the work, invitation to a pre-concert reception prior to the premiere to meet the composer, and an archive recording of the first performance.

You may nominate any piece by the above listed composers for your support initially and further commissioning opportunities will be advertised in due course.

Investment is suggested in blocks of either £50 or £100 and may be purchased at any time by contacting:
