Liverpool’s major arts organisations today reaffirmed their commitment to delivering a programme of artistic excellence, participation and engagement, for Liverpool and the UK, for European Capital of Culture 2008.

Phil on Target for Record Breaking Year

2007 is underway in the best possible way for the Liverpool Phil following the announcement that box office targets for Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra concerts have been achieved by mid-January, three months ahead of schedule.
The achievement represents a 12% growth on last year’s figures and an exceptional 14% growth over the past two years. Record box office receipts are now predicted for the end of the financial year.
