Visit of the Queen

On 22 May 2008 Her Majesty the Queen visited Liverpool Philharmonic Hall for Liverpool's year as Capital of Culture 2008. The Queen is Patron of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir and during her visit she met RLPO Executives and enjoyed performances by some of the Phil's youth ensembles as well as the orchestra itself under the baton of Sir Andrew Davis.
