Share a Ride to the Phil
The Phil has launched a new car-sharing scheme, designed to enable concert-goers to share rides to events here at the Phil.
Click here to register for the scheme and add the journeys you will make to concerts for FREE. The system will then tell you of other audience members who live near you who are going to the same event and with whom you can share the journey and costs of travel.
The benefits of car-sharing are considerable:
- Reduced travel costs - drivers and passengers can split the cost of travel
- Meet new people -sharing a car is a great way to meet fellow concert goers
- Reduced congestion - by sharing cars you can do your bit to help reduce congestion
- Reduced pollution - cutting congestions helps reduce pollution
- Car Share users will also be able to reserve a spot in the Caledonia Street car park in advance of the concert they are attending (normal charges apply and a limited number of spots will be held). Patrons must reserve at least 24 hours prior to the concert
The specialist software that is used for this scheme has been provided by Liftshare, the UK's no 1 car-sharing company. The scheme has been designed to be as safe and secure as possible and none of your personal information will be revealed online. In addition, women can choose to travel only with other women, and men with other men.
