Directions to Philharmonic Hall
Philharmonic Hall is situated on Hope Street, approximately 10 minutes’ walk from the city centre. The main entrance is situated on Hope Street at the junction where Hardman Street meets Hope Street opposite the Philharmonic Public House. It is close to Central Station, Lime Street Station, Myrtle Street bus stops and several car parks.

Directions from the M62
If you are coming to Liverpool on the M62, finding the Philharmonic Hall is straightforward. Continue along the motorway until its end and then follow the signs for the city centre, cathedrals and universities (about 3 miles). Turn left at the Metropolitan Cathedral and head past the Everyman Theatre along Hope Street.
If lost, use this maxim: find one cathedral, head for the other. The Phil is halfway between the two.

Directions to St George’s Hall Concert Room
St George’s Hall is on William Brown Street in Liverpool city centre, directly opposite Lime Street Station. Access to the Concert Room is via the entrance on William Brown Street at the north end of the building.
Directions from the M62
On entering the city follow signs for Lime Street train station.
There is car parking around Lime Street and limited parking at St
George’s Hall.
Public Transport
Queen’s Square Bus Station and Lime Street Station are both less than 5 minutes walk away.
Parking Your Car
1. St Johns Shopping Centre Car Park
We have a special £2 parking offer at this safe and securely manned car park with CCTV and close access to St George's Hall. Access to the car park is via Skelhorne Street. The discounted price is available after 5pm until midnight. Patrons should enter the main car park (do not park in the pay and display area) and go through the barrier taking a ticket to park on level 1A or above. When leaving the car park after the performance, you must hand your car parking ticket and your concert ticket stub to the cashier at the car park exit. You will then be charged the £2 tariff. Payment method is by cash or cheque only.
2. Queens Square Car Park
A multi-story car park open 24 hours. Evening rate for parking after 6pm is £3 for the first four hours, and then the charge goes up to £5 for over four hours.
3. NCP Lord Nelson Street
NCP multi-story car park open 24 hours. Evening parking rate after 6pm is £3.50. Please note that this car park is often very busy with Empire Theatre customers.
Directions to The Cornerstone, Hope at Everton
The Cornerstone is part of Liverpool Hope University's Everton campus at Haigh Street, Liverpool L3 8QB.
Public Transport
Bus number 2 (towards Kirkby) from Queen Square Bus Station, in central Liverpool, stops at Hope at Everton.
Directions from M62
Continue along the motorway until its end and then follow signs for the city centre, cathedrals and universities (c.3 miles). Go left and then right on to Irvine Street (A5047), which leads in to Pembroke Place. Go right at traffic lights into Anson Street and then right again on to London Road and move to left hand lane. Turn left on to Moss Street. At the next lights go straight ahead on to Shaw Street. Turn left into Langsdale St and left again into the free car park at Hope at Everton.
Directions to Eleanor Rathbone Theatre, University of Liverpool
Parking
Parking is very limited on the University grounds - please park as you would for a visit to Philharmonic Hall. The venue is less than a quarter of a mile from Philharmonic Hall.
On Foot from Philharmonic Hall
Turn right out of the main entrance of Philharmonic Hall on to Hope Street, then immediately right on to Myrtle Street. After passing Liverpool Community College (on the left), turn left into Mulberry Street, then right into the campus. Ahead of you, on the right-hand side of the path, is the Eleanor Rathbone Building. The Theatre is within this building.
