Robin Haggart - Tuba

Robin Haggart joined the Orchestra in 1996 as the Phil's Tuba player.

Q. How long have you been with the RLPO?
A. 10 years

Q. What was your earliest musical experience?
A. Hearing my two brothers practising the trumpet, and my dad singing and playing piano

Q. Do you play any other instruments?
A. No 

Q. If you could play a different instrument, which one would it be?
A. Bagpipes

Q. What would you most like to do if you weren’t a musician?
A. Paramedic

Q. If you could take a recording of one piece of music to a desert island, what would it be?
A. Bruckner - Symphony No.7

Q. Which piece of music do you most enjoy playing?
A. Prokofiev - Romeo and Juliet

A. Robert Burns

A. The Fly in the Loaf, Hardman Street

Q. What do you do to relax in your free time?
A. Running, cooking, eating and drinking

A. Isle of Skye (when the weather is good!)
