Carl Davis returns to the helm for another fabulous Last Night of the Summer Pops, this time with soprano Elizabeth Watts, winner of the lieder prize at Cardiff Singer of the World, 2007.
Watts sings operatic gems including Puccini’s O mio babbino caro (from Gianni Schicchi), Quando m’en (from La Boheme) and Handel’s Let the Bright Seraphim. And of course, what Last Night celebrations would be complete without the much-loved classics Jerusalem, Rule Britannia and Pomp and Circumstance?
