Liverpool Welsh Choral patron Karl Jenkins conducts one of his most enduring works. The text includes words from various religious and historical sources whilst the music varies from the Muslim call to prayer to the enormously popular Benedictus.
Jenkins also conducts his Te Deum, commissioned by LWC from the composer to celebrate Liverpool's year as European Capital of Culture and given its world premiere in the city in 2008. This concert is for those who like their classical music with a touch of the unusual and a slight twist of jazz!
