Sky Arts at the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic

The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra’s Mahler Edition concert series is the subject of a new 30-minute film to be premiered on Sky Arts 2 on Friday 30th April at 19.00hrs, called Sky Arts at the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic.  It is presented by the acclaimed Liverpudlian poet and broadcaster, Roger McGough.

Future broadcast dates over the Bank Holiday weekend are Saturday, 1 May at 1300hrs and Sunday 2 May at 7.35hrs & 23.30hrs. The film will then be broadcast at regular intervals throughout May (please check the Sky TV Guide for schedule details).

The new film is the latest development in the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic’s new media partnership, announced in February this year, with the international satellite broadcaster BSkyB’s arts channel, Sky Arts, which sees the channel named as ‘The TV Media Partner to the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra’s Mahler Edition Concert Series.’
