A.
Christmas 2004.

Q. What was your earliest musical experience?
A.
Playing a short pizzicato piece at my teachers Christmas concert. I was 7!

Q. If you could play a different instrument, which one would it be?
A.
A brass instrument - they have much more fun!

Q. What would you most like to do if you weren’t a musician?
A.
I'd love to work with animals.

A.
Everything from Rameau to Pink Floyd.

Q. What is your favourite Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra recording?
A.
The Shostakovich recordings conducted by Vasily (nos. 5, 9 and 11 ).

Q. What is your most memorable moment with the Orchestra so far?
A.
The opening ceremony of Capital of Culture. That was quite an experience.

Q. What do you like to do with your free time outside music?
A.
Free time.....?!!!!

A.
The people.
