Q. What was your earliest musical experience?    
A.
Sitting in on my older brother's cello lessons and trying to have a go!

Q. If you could play a different instrument, which one would it be?    
A.
The cello...

Q. What would you most like to do if you weren’t a musician?
A.
There are so many things I would like to do, I'm not sure where to start! If I couldn't play full time but still wanted to be involved in music, I would love to become a music therapist. I would also love to try my hand at acting but if I didn't fancy the idea of performing anymore, I would think about training as a psychologist or a physiotherapist.

Q. What is your most memorable moment with the Orchestra so far?    
A.
Playing with Sir Simon Rattle was an incredible experience and one that I feel very privileged to have had. It will remain with me for the rest of my life.

Q. What do you like to do with your free time outside music?
A.
Seeing my husband and socialising! I love going to the theatre, comedy, good restaurants and to non-classical concerts. I also love meeting up with friends and having a good natter over a bottle of wine or two...
