Liverpool Philharmonic's Preferred Hotel
Hope Street Hotel
To be the Hall's preferred hotel it obviously helps to be just across the road. However, Hope Street Hotel is also a beautifully renovated building, retaining the original brick, pine beams and ironwork and adding solid floors and furniture of oak, cherry, walnut and birch.
It was originally built around 1860 in the style of a Venetian palazzo for The London Carriage Works company, now the name of the restaurant, a perfect pre-concert destination if you allow yourself a little more time for two or three courses. Last table is 10pm for a post show supper.
