Liverpool Philharmonic Training Choir & Melody Makers

Looking for an interesting after-school activity for your child? Why not consider signing up for the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic's choirs for children aged 7-12?

The choirs, Melody Makers and the Training Choir, are a great way for children to have fun, meet new friends, and make music at the Liverpool Philharmonic. No specialist knowledge is required - just the desire to sing!

Both choirs sing lots of different types of music and are the perfect introduction to choral singing. In addition, your children will have the opportunity to learn about music through fun games and activities.

When do they meet?

The choirs meet once a week to rehearse in Liverpool. They also have the opportunity to perform at informal concerts throughout the year.

How much is membership?

The cost of the programme is currently £60 per year. In addition, your child will receive discounts on tickets to selected Royal Liverpool Philharmonic concerts. If you are unable to afford the annual fee, a limited number of bursaries are available. Uniform costs are additional and will cost no more than £13.

Interested in joining?

Due to phenomenal demand for Melody Makers, we will now only process new applications if your child is in year 2 or above. Processed applications will be placed on a waiting list, and will be contacted should a place in the choir become available.

We are not currently accepting applications for Liverpool Philharmonic Training Choir, as the Choir and waiting list are both now full. Any updates to this will appear here.
