Liverpool Philharmonic, one of the UK’s most forward-looking music organisations.

Giving Opportunities

The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic has a long and established history of gaining support from grant making Trusts and Foundations for our work both on the platform and in the wider community with our many outreach, education and participation projects.

We are grateful for all the support we have received, and continue to receive, from Trusts and Foundations, particularly in our immediate post stabilisation period. The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic owes a great debt of gratitude to many Trusts who have helped us to emerge as the financially sound and artistically successful organisation it is today.

In addition to our world-class performances both at home and on tour, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic has one of the most exciting and inspirational Learning and Engagement programmes of any orchestra in the UK, involving thousands of people every year and including over 22,000 local children and young people. This success story is one which would not have been possible without the generous support of many Trusts and Foundations.

We have also received Trust support for many of our International Tours, which have included visits to Malta, the Czech Republic and Spain. With the arrival of Vasily Petrenko and the overwhelming success of 2008, Liverpool’s year as European Capital of Culture, more international touring is on the horizon.

Much of the pioneering new music composition we champion and commission is funded by Trusts and Foundations. Kenneth Hesketh was awarded the PRS ‘Composer in the House’ award at the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic for two Seasons: 2007/08 and 2008/09.

If you are a Trust or Foundation and are interested in supporting us please contact us.
